Q&A: What Will Cannabis Retail Training Look Like?

Lift & Co. CEO Matei Olaru answers questions on CannSell, Ontario’s mandatory cannabis retail training program launching Feb. 25.

Ontario cannabis stores are set to open on April 1 — what does it take to work at one? Ahead of Lift & Co.’s CannSell retail training program launching on Feb. 25, CEO Matei Olaru sat down with Sarah Hanlon (host of our Guide To Cannabis videos) for a quick chat on what the program will look like.

Developed in partnership with MADD Canada, CannSell is the only approved cannabis retail training program in Ontario. The four-hour certification educates on cannabis and its effects, safe methods of consumption and responsible sales practices. Ontario retailers, licence holders and prospective employees can visit CannSell.ca to learn more about the certification.
